On 12 October 2021, the PES Governing Board (GB) approved revisions to the IEEE Power & Energy Society Bylaws which reflects the following changes:

  2. Changes required by IEEE for the Division VII Director-Elect Nomination Committee - Added language in sections 6.2 and 14.0 referring to the process for this Nominations Committee in the TAB Operations Manual.
  3. PES Nominations & Appointments Committee Membership - Increased the size of the Committee to a maximum of 6 members (other than Chair).  At least 2/3 of the members shall be appointed by the PES GB with the Chair being able to appoint up to two additional members.  Two (2) of these six (6) members must be from the PES GB.  Additionally, the criteria for serving on the PES N&A Committee was changed to allow any member being Graduate Student Member grade or above.
