The 1st IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Program Golf Outing was held on May 5, 2012 at Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.    Over 50 people got their week off to a terrific start before the start of the 2012 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exposition with a day on one of the best, most challenging courses in Central Florida.

The golf outing was a success due to support provided by the golf outing sponsors

The IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative™ is attracting top engineering candidates to pursue power engineering careers. The continued success of the initiative depends on organizations that can provide financial support, career experience opportunities and mentoring.
