The PES e-Newsletter, an integral part of the bi-monthly magazine IEEE Power & Energy, provides time-sensitive information more appropriately conveyed via an electronic medium rather that in print or by other static means. A short item is included within the newsletter, with, if necessary, links to more extensive information which is posted on the web.

Items appropriate for insertion in the PES e-Newsletter include calendar entries, calls for papers, calls for nominations, meeting announcements and reports, etc.

The PES e-Newsletter is sent at appropriate intervals to PES members whose e-mail addresses are on file with IEEE.

It is the privilege and responsibility of the editor-in-chief of the e-Newsletter to determine what items and materials will be published. All items submitted are subject to editing prior to publication.

Text items for insertion in the eNews Update should be submitted as Word or PDF files. Graphics should be submitted as JPG files. If the news references additional files posted elsewhere on the web, please include the URL.
