Resource Center is one of the most exciting membership benefits from PES. More and more PES members are using this fantastic database which is also becoming better and better. This webinar will give members not yet familiar with Resource Center as well as those already familiar with it an overview of how Resource Center works, what is new in its latest version, and how this brilliant database can benefit PES and non-PES members.

Dr. Luis (Nando) Ochoa is Senior Lecturer in Smart Distribution Networks at The University of Manchester, UK. His expertise in network integration of low carbon technologies has led to 110+ publications, 40+ technical reports, and one patent filed by Psymetrix Ltd. Dr Ochoa is an IEEE PES Distinguished Lecturer and has also several leadership roles within IEEE PES, including Member-At-Large of the Governing Board, Chair of the Modern and Future Distribution System Planning WG, and Chair of the Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT) Europe Steering Committee. He is also a Member of the European Technology Platform (ETP) SmartGrids. Dr Ochoa is an IEEE Senior Member since 2012. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from UNI (Peru), and a Research MSc and a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering, both from UNESP Ilha Solteira (Brazil).
