The meeting of the IEEE P2030 Task Force 1 on Power Technology addressed smart grid definitions, topologies, interoperability, end-use, interfaces, and integration, etc. It focused on systems approach on functional and performance attributes including test and verification methods. It was an information sharing meeting for interested PES General Meeting attendees. An update on the P2030 activities was provided and participation was solicited.
