This committee is charged with developing education materials for life-long learning of practicing engineers. They focus on packaging content already available through the PES supported Distinguished Lecture Program (DLP) and work with short course material providers like universities and training institutes to generate new content for electronic delivery through IEEE Xplore. In this context the EMD Committee works with the IEEE Membership and Geographic Activities Board (MGAB) to package content through their Expert Now program and similar platforms. This committee works with the Power Engineering Education Committee (PEEC) to encourage the delivery of lifelong learning modules to the society members
