The PES membership is comprised of over 28,000 industry professionals, academics and students with a common interest in the electric power industry. How to Join IEEE PESJoining IEEE and PES is easy. You must first be an IEEE member. IEEE membership yearly dues vary based on location. As of 2012 the IEEE dues are US$180 in the United States; from US$163.90 to US$177.70 in Canada; US$151 in Africa, Europe and the Middle East; US$142 in Latin America; and $143 in Asia and the Pacific. A discounted e-membership from US$54 to US$63 is offered for residents of GDP-limited countries. Discounted rates are also availble for people with special circumstances, such as loss of employment, retired or disabled. Complete information about IEEE dues is found here. Once you become an IEEE member, PES membership is only US$35 per year.
How to Join IEEE PES as a Student MemberStudents enjoy special IEEE and PES membership discounts. Graduate, undergraduate and even high school students are eligible. You must first be an IEEE student member. IEEE student membership yearly dues are US$32 in the US; from US$33.60 to US$36.80 in Canada; US$27 in everywhere else. After you become an IEEE member, your first year of PES membership is free. After your first year, PES membership dues are only US$18.00 per year.
How to Join IEEE PES as an Affiliate MemberAffiliate members are PES members that are not IEEE members. The Affiliate membership dues are $103.00 per year. |
