This program was designed to help chapters increase their membership through a variety of programs. The program provides FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE for activities that increase membership in the form of a grant to support the cost of such activities.

Some of the ways the program has been used include the following:

• Lunch meetings providing "FREE" lunch to all members who bring a potential new PES Member (lunch is provided to both the member and the guest).
• "FREE" dinners offered to each PES Member who brings a COMPLETED Senior Member form.
• Working with the local Student Branch (or Student Branch PES Chapter), to offer a "FREE" pizza meeting and handing out PES Student Membership brochures and information.

The steps for your chapter to obtain these special funds is as follows:

• Develop a plan for a membership program, or other special program that will enhance or increase membership in the PES.
• Send your proposal to your PES Chapter Representative or Regional Representative for approval. He/she will work with you to have the money sent to your chapter as quickly as possible. A listing of Chapter Representatives and Regional Representatives is available from the PES /Chapters web site.
• Once the program is completed, send a report on the program to the Membership Committee and let us know how the meeting went and if you would encourage other chapters to present this type of program. Also, let us know how the program worked for your chapter and if you see ways to improve the program.

Support is limited to a one time activity per chapter.
